The VideoGame Vixen (My Etsy Account)!

Hello Internet!

Sorry I have not been around in a while...
But I am back and I've been working on a new project... I've finally established an ETSY account!

You can find it here:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheVideoGameVixen

What do you guys think of the name?
On this shop my plan is to sell Nerd and Gamer related Lingerie! And possibly some other trendy items I come up with.

I am super excited to get this started so please pass the word on!

Here are my first two items:

I started with Skyrim because it is one of my favorite games of all time... and I loved the juxtaposition of the manly Viking (Dragonborn) and the feminine lace.

Then I proceeded to Captain America, which I've noticed to be one of the most frequently worn of the Marvel characters. I felt the simplicity of the graphic to work really well for a sexy camisole.

Let me know what you guys think!! And please spread the word to all of your nerd friends! :)

Caitlyn Cosplay!

Ciao Internet!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. Though I manage to be a nerd every day of my life, I do not always have the time to make awesome nerdy things. :(

Except for now!! I do not have a dress for you guys, but I do have a cosplay of...

Caitlyn, the Sheriff of Piltover!

Here is my cosplay (!!!) :

For those of you that are unfamiliar with this character, she is from the game League of Legends, which is a totally fun, free to play online game. Check it out!

And sign up here so I get a referral ;)

I got to wear this to none other than NEW YORK COMIC CON! It was super fun! I honestly could not go 5 minutes without someone yelling "CAITLYN!" at me. I began to think it was my actual name...

Here are some pictures from the event:

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think of my cosplay and if you have any suggestions for what I should make next!!

Until next time,

Claptrap Dress!

Greetings, Internet!

I am a CL4P-TP Steward Bot! But my friends call me Claptrap!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! I just finished my latest project which was turning  a Claptrap T-Shirt into a dress!

Here is the shirt:

I also took inspiration from Maya, the Siren in Borderlands 2:

I really loved the black and yellow combination, and I wanted to create the look of her bodysuit using panels of black mesh. Here is the dress:

HALLOWEEN

Hello there, Internet!

Happy Halloween!! After the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, it was nice to get out and see people having a little fun. I, myself decided to put together a costume though, unfortunately, no one could guess who I was right out. Perhaps one of you know?

If you guessed "Alice from Resident Evil: Extinction," then you guessed correct! Although, I doubt anyone guessed that haha. Anyways, here is her picture for caparison:

And in case any of you were wondering, that second tree that I was posing with had actually fallen as a result of the hurricane. Here it is clearer:

Scary, right? After all that, the apocalyptic costume almost seemed all too appropriate. I hope you are safe and well and I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!!

Until next time,

NY Comic Con

Hello there, Internet!!

So I realize it has been a very long time since I've posted anything, but I have been extremely busy since I went back to school! However, I was able to go to New York Comic Con!! I had a blast! There were some really great cosplays and merchandise! I bought myself and adorable Plush Turret from portal. It lights up and threatens me! Also, there was a mustache emporium... 'Nuff said. Pictures to follow...

My adorable Turret!!

Singed from League of Legends!

From the Mustache Emporium...

Claptrap!!!!!!

So anyways, there was a booth set up from the new game "Marvel Heroes." It's an MMO in which you can play as the Marvel characters, such as Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Storm, Wolverine, etc... It kind of plays like Diablo 3, so I was immediately a fan.

So they were giving away T-shirts at the booth if you earned enough points doing various tasks around the con, but sadly I was a few points short. The man giving away the shirts saw my Diablo 3 dress and asked me what size it was. I told him "XXL" and he abruptly disappeared into the tent. When he came back he gestured to me to come over and handed me and XXL T-shirt and asked me if I would make it into a dress and send pictures. Challenge Accepted!! Pictures of the dress will come soon!!

Until then,

Call of Duty: Black Ops (ZOMBIES!) T-Shirt Dress

Hiya, Internet!

Sorry, it's been a while since I've posted... but I have finished another project! This one is from 2 Call of Duty: Black Ops (ZOMBIES!) T-Shirts.

Here is the shirt:

I wanted to go with something a bit more modern, almost with an apocalyptic feel to it. After about 4 hours of draping and sewing I came up with this:

Pretty happy with how it turned out. Jus added a touch of mesh and some ribbon in the back, but the rest is the T-Shirt!

I couldn't decide whether it looked better with ankle boots or knee highs. What do you guys think?

Also, you can watch the video of my design process here:

Thanks everyone! Until next time!!
